80: The Knitted Story of D Day

80 years have passed since the D-Day Landings. This monumental turning point in the Second World War continues to haunt, and be cherished by the towns and countries it liberated. In Normandy this year that remembrance took a rather fluffy form. 🧶

The Sea in Our Veins. The fisherfolk of Paternoster.​

Paternoster is one of the oldest fishing villages in South Africa. Although the name means 'Our Father' in Latin, the fisherfolk of Paternoster honour the sea as their mother.

Feeling Sound​

Scottish-born Evelyn Glennie is a brilliant solo percussionist. Since her hearing impairment from the age of eight, she started to connect with sound in a very different way, and her body became like a resonating chamber – in her words, “like a huge big ear”. Evelyn Glennie is a dynamo of musical talent and is truly mesmerizing!
